Q. Do you have different types of lettering?
A. Yes - we have several different styles of script and block available as well as fancy monograms. We would be happy to show you samples to help you choose the one right for you.
Q. I'm not sure what's appropriate to engrave on my item. Can you help?
A. Absolutely - We can suggest occasion-appropriate copy based on the hundreds of items we've engraved in the past. Of course the final decision is up to you!
Q. How much does engraving cost?
A. Usually, $20.00 for the setup plus $2.00 per letter. There are some exceptions:
Medic-Alerts - engraving on medic-Alert items purchased from Reyman Jewelers is discounted as a courtesy.
Vertical format lettering (each letter below the previous)
Hand engraving
Unusually shaped items
These are all priced individually.
Q. How long does it take?
A. If you were to say "No rush", we would complete your job within one week (except for big jobs which may take longer). If it is a rush job, we will try our best to accommodate you.
Q. What should I engrave on my I-Pod?
A. Usually, just the name and phone number, but we can also engrave a favorite saying, lyric, or special message!
Q. Is engraving discounted on items purchased at Reyman Jewelers?
A. Yes - any item purchased from Reyman Jewelers has the setup fee($20.00) as well as the cost of the first 15 letters ($30.00) waived for a savings of up to $50.00.
Q. I need to wear a Medic-Alert bracelet for a medical condition that I have. How can you help?
A. First of all, we always have a selection of Medic-Alert bracelets and pendants in stock. We also engrave Medic-Alerts purchased elsewhere. We will discuss with you what needs to be engraved in the limited space available. When there is room, we can engrave a name, condition, medications, doctor's name and phone number and next of kin and phone number.
Q. Do I need an appointment?
A. No - just come in! We are open Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.
